Indivisible

Indivisible is a grassroots, volunteer-led organization dedicated to expanding civil rights, protecting democracy and strengthening voting rights across the country. I volunteer with metro area and statewide groups to help increase civic engagement through informative, easy and fun events. The following examples are printed materials and social media graphics created to help get voters voices heard by their representatives, and increase voter turn-out in election years.

Postcards to our reps/voters

I'm Voting (2020, 2022)

Edina Indivisible needed a generic postcard that could be used by volunteers to write to their representatives on any topic. These are created for key election years with a secondary message to their reps that they will be voting in the next election. The blank, white area is open for custom messages (i.e. voting rights, climate action, etc) with room on the reverse side for a longer message.
Climate Action

A versatile illustration touching on a variety of climate topics including: energy, water, climate warming, environmental extinction, and an eye letting their reps know they’re watching what they’re doing in at the Capitol.
gun violence prevention

Based on a poster created for the March for Our Lives rally, this postcard urges representatives to pass legislation related to gun violence prevention.
Pass the For The People Act

Created for both the national and state-level effort to fortify voting rights and strengthen our democracy via the For The People Act bills.
Your vote Matters: Midterm election

Edina Indivisible volunteers sent out over 3,000 postcards to low-turn out voting districts in their city with positive messaging and information on where and when people can vote.
Your Vote Matters: School board election

Off-year elections historically garner a fraction of voters, so Edina Indivisible members sent postcards with voting location and hour info, as well as helpful links where people could learn more about Edina School Board candidates.

Event Social media graphic system: Spotlight on Democracy

Created main graphic system for large grassroots event focused on strengthening voting rights and democratic procedures on the anniversary of the Jan 6th election insurrection. Guest speakers included national- and state-level representatives, directors from Common Cause, Fair Vote MN, Isaiah MN, Women’s March MN, and statewide Indivisible chapters.
