MN Legislative Action is a collective of progressive organizers from Women’s March MN and Indivisible chapters statewide. Dedicated to building civic engagement on key legislation via bill tracking, they create quick and easy ways to reach out to our representatives via an informative weekly action newsletter and hot topic actions on social media. Since the key organizers come from different organizations, they asked me to create a visual identity system they could all use in their various channels. The final solution needed to evoke urgency and trustworthiness, be easy to implement, stand out from the other political noise on social media and inspire action. As a result, their work increased public awareness with voters and other grassroots groups leading to passage of key legislation at the MN State Capitol.
